APPLICATION INFORMATION

Apply by submitting the application form below. Application approval and payment details will be provided via email. Your enrolment will be confirmed after payment has been received.

Participation fee: $195AUD
Suitable for: Tertiary and Secondary Saxophonists (playing at AMEB Grade 5/6 and above, or equivalent).
What’s involved: Participants will engage in three specialty Jazz Workshops held on Saturday and Sunday, perform at the Sunday Night Gala Concert, plus have full access to every Festival Concert, Workshop and Masterclass.

Participation and Supervision: Supervision of participants under the age of 18 will be provided by Melbourne Saxophone during designated rehearsal times on both Saturday and Sunday. Outside of these times participants are encouraged to attend other festival events. Participants under the age of 18 can only be unsupervised if permission from a parent/guardian is given to Melbourne Saxophone before the festival.

Parent/Guardian Festival Passes: Melbourne Saxophone is happy to offer discount festival passes to parents/guardians who would like to accompany participants under the age of 18 to the festival.  This is only for MISF Jazz Program participants who will be attending the full festival.
Parent/Guardian passes are $90AUD.
One Parent/Guardian pass per Jazz Program Participant applies.

Please note that the MISF D’Addario Jazz Program runs concurrently with the SmashSAX! and Ozwinds 100SAx! on both Saturday and Sunday and so applicants can only apply for one program.
