2020 MELBOURNE SAXOPHONE SUMMER ACADEMY

Melbourne Saxophone Summer Academy returns in 2020, presenting a two-day intensive program with our international special guest artists, Tong Yang (CN), Clifford Leaman (USA), Michellina Chan (SNG), Sara Anne Beale (AUS), Micheal Lichnovsky (AUS), Ian Godfrey (AUS) alongside Artistic Director, Joseph Lallo.

MEET OUR ARTISTS

Held at The Ian Potter Southbank Centre, participants will engage in quartet rehearsals, masterclasses, workshops and individual lessons with our special guest artists. Culminating in a feature showcase concert, this academy is the essential compliment to our participant’s saxophone journey and a great kick-start into the year.

SUITABLE FOR:

The Melbourne Saxophone Summer Academy will be most appropriate for students about to enter into their tertiary music studies, music students in VCE, or those considering the university for their future music studies.

Already established secondary and tertiary student quartets can also apply to participate as a group.
