MELBOURNE SAXOPHONE ENSEMBLE

The Melbourne Saxophone Ensemble brings together twelve of Melbourne’s finest saxophonists, from Bass to Sopranino. The ensemble performs a dynamic range of classical and new music, with a strong focus on Australian and World Premieres.

Since their debut concert at the 2017 Melbourne International Saxophone Festival, the ensemble has performed Australian premiers by Roshanne Etezady (US), Katia Beaugeais (AUS), and Aaron Gallagher (US), and played with world-renowned saxophonists Vincent David (France), Nikita Zimin (Russia) and Philippe Geiss (France).
