Saxophone Mega Ensemble
All participants come together to perform a world-premiere piece by renowned Australian composer, Katia Beaugeais, written specially for the Saxophone Mega Day! Sheet music will be provided prior to the event.
VCE Performance and Advanced Secondary Students Masterclasses with Joseph Lallo (Head of Saxophone at the Melbourne Conservatorium)
Attend this session focussed on solo repertoire if you are preparing for your VCE Music exam or thinking about taking VCE Music in the future.
Around the Saxophone in 90 minutes
Workshops on everything to do with saxophone, with Katia Beaugeais (ABC Recording Artist and Composer), Nessyah Gallagher (PhD Candidate), Margery Smith (Composer and Performer), and many more! A range of workshops will be on offer tailored to all ages and levels.

Open Concert Stage
Performances will be held around the venue during lunchtime and throughout the Saxophone Mega Day. This is open to all participants of the Saxophone Mega Day and expressions of interest can be made via the registration form.
Saxophone Showcase Concert
A showcase concert featuring the Saxophone Mega Day Participants, staff and students of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, the Melbourne Saxophone Ensemble and guest artists. Participants performing in the evening concert will not need to book a concert ticket
Observer/Parent/Guardian Passes
Observer passes are available to those who wish to attend the day without participating in the rehearsals and concert performance.
Parent/Guardian passes are available for those who wish to attend the day alongside a participant 17 years and younger.
